Spring is just around the corner and that means it’s time to treat broadleaf weeds, get crabgrass preventer down and start waking up those lawns out there. In February and March we will be doing just that so your lawn is clean and green before the heat gets here in May.
If you have not had an irrigation inspection lately now is the time to get it on the schedule. February and March are the months to make sure the system is performing as designed. Broken and leaking heads will need to be replaced and sunken or low heads will need to be raised to insure proper coverage. This needs to be done people. I do it. You do it. Your landscaper does it; I don’t care as long as it gets done. Remember, what takes a week to dry up in die in the hot dry weather of May will take the rest of the season to fill back in. A little preventative maintenance now can save a lot of aggravation. Call the office to schedule an appointment.
